~Tutu time...

Tutu you say!? Well to make a long story short I offered to make my nieces birthday invitations...THEN I found out she was having a tutu party. Hmmm...well...how could I make a unique card/invite!? Well I gotta thinkin' (excuse the grammar I know it's not proper but it fits right now) and started playing with the tulle, then looked at my new sewing machine (which by the way was her mothers idea of a bday gift, in January, to me even though I don't know how to sew...LOL) and VOILA:

So my sister comes over, eyeballed the invites and wants to take them home right away. BUT WAIT!!! I haven't photographed them! Well she was in a hurry so I took a quick snap on this rainy day (hence the bad photo, sorry!). UGH!! I hate having to use flash...rain, rain, go away!

~Edited: I missed the timeline, BUT...

I love the card! EDITED TO ADD:Silly me I just realized the end time for this challenge is 7pm...um...EST! Well I'm PST...oh well. I used the sketch, found on the Cuttlebug challenge blog HERE (scroll down a bit) and the Creatively Cute Challenge to create a card that shows our personality. (I told you I had multiple personalities...LOL!)
Without further ado, here is the sketch, then my card:

I love the paper, it has lots of my favorite things written on it: family, good friends, cupcakes, hearts etc. I had a hard time cutting a piece and not covering all the fun stuff! I used the cuttlebug for the hearts and embossing on the solid black cardstock.

As always...thanks for looking!

~Just a little scrapping/stamping...

Well on the first layout I was inspired by the Creatively Cute bloggers challenge to create a card that shows our personality or in my case personalities...roflol! The card is not quite finished, but here is the layout and deets:

DETAILS:
pp is K&Co, flowers are Prima, stamps are Inkadinkado. Journaling (on the giant flower/petals on the right) reads: These are the seasons of my life: I need to remember to, daily, count my blessings and keep my eyes ont the prize (as in spirituality, family, health...you know the things that really count). It took to my mid-40's to get comfortable and not care what people think, because I have inner beauty. And that is why, love is in the air. I love me and accept me for who I am, the good, the bad and everything in between!

This one is my youngest son, his birthday is coming up this week so this is for his teen album! And who said boys can't have flowers and pearls???

Details: PP is Junkitz (old but love it and wish I had more!), stamp in upper corner is Fancy Pants (bella brush)and the white flower is Heidi Swapp and I stamped the words all over it...same stamp collection. Key/heart are grungeboard, flowers Prima, felt letters are AC Thickers. Flower Center piece is clay I baked and doodled on then put a metal center piece on it. Border is Fiskars border punch...whew!

Please forgive the photography, as it has been raining all day and is suppose to all week, hence the flash and bad lighting...UGH! I LOVE SUNSHINE!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
