~Just a little scrapping/stamping...

Well on the first layout I was inspired by the Creatively Cute bloggers challenge to create a card that shows our personality or in my case personalities...roflol! The card is not quite finished, but here is the layout and deets:

DETAILS:
pp is K&Co, flowers are Prima, stamps are Inkadinkado. Journaling (on the giant flower/petals on the right) reads: These are the seasons of my life: I need to remember to, daily, count my blessings and keep my eyes ont the prize (as in spirituality, family, health...you know the things that really count). It took to my mid-40's to get comfortable and not care what people think, because I have inner beauty. And that is why, love is in the air. I love me and accept me for who I am, the good, the bad and everything in between!

This one is my youngest son, his birthday is coming up this week so this is for his teen album! And who said boys can't have flowers and pearls???

Details: PP is Junkitz (old but love it and wish I had more!), stamp in upper corner is Fancy Pants (bella brush)and the white flower is Heidi Swapp and I stamped the words all over it...same stamp collection. Key/heart are grungeboard, flowers Prima, felt letters are AC Thickers. Flower Center piece is clay I baked and doodled on then put a metal center piece on it. Border is Fiskars border punch...whew!

Please forgive the photography, as it has been raining all day and is suppose to all week, hence the flash and bad lighting...UGH! I LOVE SUNSHINE!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

  12. Michelle, your scrapbook pages are beautiful. I commend you for being so bold in stating that YOU are who You Are and are comfortable with yourself and realize that inner beauty is much more beautiful than the outward appaerance and also for not being pressured into something you aren't. It took me awhile to be comfortable with myself and I too realize what was important to me was in front of me all my life. Family, Health and my Love for Jesus Christ! So kudos to you my sister! I love the page you scrapbooked of your son. I love color pictures, but there is just something about black and whites that capture the real mood and personality of the subject! Have a blessed day!
